Had an absolutely fantastic time horseback riding for the first time ever here at this ranch!! The guides were so helpful and amazing and our party wasn't nervous at all. The horses are so well behaved it's very peaceful honestly to ride around the property. We did the sunset ride and saw a coyote!! It was so beautiful and I hope to come back again before the end of my trip. If you are thinking about horseback riding don't go anywhere else!! The grounds were amazing as well lots to see, and the best part is you can see how cared for and loved all the horses are in addition to other animals. I love that every one had its own individual name🤎
My daughter came out from Boston for a quick visit. My other daughter had to work, and we decided to bring Daisy the love of my life granddaughter. She's 4
We basically had the place to ourselves, which is a plus the weather was fine Daisy
Met new friends, I think they enjoyed playing in the big sandbox/play area for kids. The animals were awesome they were friendly , sometimes funny, and they all looked healthy and happy
We all enjoyed our day at Macdonalds Ranch
Thank you

Went on an early morning horse ride on the desert trail. My first time on a horse! They made sure I felt confident and safe, even as a first time rider. Definitely a cool experience and neat way to see the landscape and wild life. An hour ride was plenty long. Got to see a few jackrabbits and birds :)
I took a group of teenagers to the pumpkin patch this year. We had a good time however I felt like it was geared more towards younger kiddos now. We did ride the little train and had a blast. It was the highlight of going there. When my kids were little we were able to go on a hay ride to the pumpkin patch but now you just walk to it.
Oh the bill ride was really fun to watch! My daughter stayed on for 5 seconds at full speed 😄
We have come here almost every Oct. For 8 years. My daughter especially loved the horse ride but next year she will be too tall for it. We also love all the games and we did the scavenger hunt. Idk if that is new or we just hadn't noticed before but it was fun. Had trouble finding one clue about the spider and the people working the bull ride and selling popcorn don't know anything about the scavenger hunt. We skipped that one and happen to find it later.
Great fun for all ages! They have everything really well laid out and lots of activities! Plus the pumpkin 🎃 patch! …
This is not a big as I expected. My overall experience was leaving underwhelmed. This is mostly for little kids. My 7 and 10 year Olds couldn't really do the pedal cars or the pony rides and too small for the mechanical bull. We came for during the half-price timeframe, and I was glad. I would have been very upset to pay $15 a person. The pumpkin patch isn't a patch it's a bunch of displays. They did enjoy trying to rope the stationary bull. We were able to see everything in less than an hour and a half. The staff were very nice and they offer first responder and some other discounts and if you bring in canned good you can get a couple more bucks off. There are a ton of photo ops which make for some great pictures.
Highlight of our trip! I’m a first time rider and they made me feel very comfortable. Andrew was a hilarious and friendly guide. There was a cute little western town and impressive petting zoo. Can’t wait to go again!
